Oil seal leaking
Troubleshooting points:
1) Check the operating oil temperature of the reducer. Too high oil temperature will cause the oil seal to age too quickly. The maximum allowable use temperature of mineral oil is 90 degrees, and the limit temperature of synthetic oil is 100 degrees.
2) Check the lubrication method of the reducer and the type of lubricating oil. Generally, lubricating oil is divided into PG, PAO, and MIN. Among them, PG has a greater impact on the life of the oil seal.
3) Check the alignment accuracy of the reducer coupling. The installation of the reducer has strict alignment requirements. The adjustment accuracy is an important factor that determines the service life of the shaft, bearing and coupling.
4) Check whether the vent plug is installed. The vent plug is not installed when the reducer is shipped. The plug must be replaced with a vent plug before operation.
Abnormal noise
Troubleshooting points:
1) Check the approximate location of the noise, such as bearings, gears or driven machinery.
2) Check whether the noise is regular or irregular. Generally speaking, regular noise comes from gears and irregular noise comes from bearings.
3) Check whether the motor is controlled by the inverter, and troubleshoot the setting of the inverter.
4) Check the rigidity and level of the mounting base of the reducer. The poor rigidity of the reducer base will cause resonance and box deformation, and abnormal noise.
Abnormal vibration
Troubleshooting points:
1) Refer to the ISO10816 rotating machinery vibration standard to check the speed vibration value of the bearing position.
2) Check the load condition of the reducer, whether the mounting surface is level, and whether the rigidity of the mounting base meets the requirements.
High temperature
Troubleshooting points:
1) Check the temperature of each bearing and the oil temperature of the reducer, the oil temperature generally does not exceed 90 degrees.
2) Check whether the viscosity and type of lubricating oil are correct, and check the oil level.
3) Review the selection of the reducer and check the load condition.
4) Check whether the cooling water temperature is too high.
5) Check whether the vent plug is installed and blocked.
Auxiliary transmission failure
Troubleshooting points:
1) Check whether the direction of rotation of the backstop and overrunning clutch is correct.
2) Check whether the auxiliary motor is blocked, such as material blocking at the bottom of the hoist.
3) Check whether the phase sequence of the auxiliary motor is correct.
Pressure switch failure
Troubleshooting points:
1) Check whether the steering of the oil pump is correct.
2) Check whether the output flow and pressure of the oil pump meet the requirements.
3) Check whether the pressure switch model and wiring are correct.
Other matters needing attention
1) The reducer must not be used as a grounding point for welding work. Welding will produce electrical corrosion, causing irreparable damage to the precision gear teeth and bearings.
2) Installation centering. Axial centering refers to adjusting the relative positions of the motor and the reducer to achieve the coincidence of the central axis of the driving shaft and the driven shaft; radial centering refers to adjusting the relative position of the motor and the reducer to achieve The end face of the motor shaft is parallel to the end face of the reducer shaft.
3) If the reducer does not run temporarily after the arrival of the goods, it must be stored in a covered place and not exposed to the open air, otherwise it is easy to produce condensation inside the reducer, which will cause the reducer to rust. If the reducer is placed in a humid environment or stored for more than 6 months, special anti-rust measures should be taken, otherwise it will easily cause corrosion and damage to the reducer. The most common method is to fill it with oil and manually turn it every 3 months. The leakage shaft should be protected by grease.
